Gerard Cosmetics Lip Gloss (formerly Whitening Lightning)

I had been wanting to get my hands on some Gerard Cosmetics lip glosses. I discovered them through watching beauty videos on YouTube. Part of the attraction is the unique packaging. I had also seen several recommendations and positive reviews. Recently I had the opportunity to get my hands on a few shades and try them out.

The glosses come in 23 beautiful shades. The colours that I chose were; sugar mama, coral craze, butter cream, rose hill and wild orchid. My favourites are butter cream and wild orchid. They glide on smoothly and have a very creamy texture with a slight tackiness for longer wear. The colours are pigmented and fairly opaque. The shade sugar mama was too light on its own, so I prefer to wear it over lip liner or lipstick. The glosses have a very pleasant taste and  fruity scent to them.

The packaging is part of the appeal as well. They are large with a light inside the lid and a mirror on the side. The mirror could've been clearer, but the light is fun. Overall, I was very pleased and would recommend the Gerard Cosmetics lip glosses for you to try! I'm looking forward to trying more shades and some of their lipsticks as well.
